Kerry Lynch
Kerry Lynch is a Scottish Flautist/Whistle player. She began her formal studies at the Junior Conservatoire of Scotland (Classical Guitar and Flute) at an early age, and continued her studies further for a time at the University of Glasgow and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Kerry has since trained and performed in masterclasses with artists such as: Ian Clarke, Ruth Morley, Lorna McGhee, Michael Cox, Niall O’Riordan, Aisling Agnew and Gareth McLearnon. Kerry plays in the ‘JKL Duo’ with her partner, Italian Guitarist Jacopo Lazzaretti.
The pair have performed around Scotland and parts of Europe and are currently working on their first album ‘Burns. The International Poet’. In 2018 they opened ‘JKL Duo Studios’ in Glasgow’s West End and there both Kerry and Jacopo enjoy a busy teaching schedule working with people of all ages. Kerry also works with Harpist Eliza Younger, Pianist Callum Ward and with rock band Austin Miller.
In 2021 Kerry launched her podcast ‘…but with all due respect’ where she interviews creatives from all walks of life and genres on how to release tension, infuse their work with more fun and how it is possible to carve your own unique path in the arts.
